Description The Coordinator, Clinical Pharmacy Services is responsible for coordinating clinical services throughout the medical center to ensure consistent, safe, effective, and value-driven pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities Using leadership and vision, the Coordinator, Clinical Pharmacy Services will develop, promote, and advance comprehensive pharmaceutical services across the continuum of care. This individual will be the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director.
Requirements REQUIRED: · 6 years practice experience, Pharm.D. with PGY1 and PGY2 training (or equivalent experience), Illinois licensure, and board certification (specialty certification, as appropriate) · Excellent clinical, written/verbal communication, and problem-solving skills · Experience supervising pharmacy personnel and precepting pharmacy learners · CPR certified · Must be creative and innovative in addressing challenges and opportunities PREFERRED: · Previous Clinical Coordinator or Residency Program Director experience · Previous experience leading an interdisciplinary committee or workgroup · Experience with clinical research and peer-reviewed publications · Experience developing clinical pharmacy services · Functional knowledge of Just Culture, change management, and Pharmacy supply chain principles
