Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Explain the rationale for modifications to the treatment of gonorrhea.
2. Discuss the pros and cons of using doxycycline compared to azithromycin for the treatment of chlamydia.
3. Identify differences in treating trichomoniasis in males and females.

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
