Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:

1. Explain the consequences of burnout as it relates to the individual, organization, and patient care outcomes.
2. Discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has increased workplace burnout.
3. Describe how to create a plan that prevents burnout from occurring within pharmacy learners and employees.

This activity provides 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU) of continuing pharmacy education credit. ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN) 0121-0000-21-018-L04-P and 0121-0000-21-018-L04-T. Type of Activity: Knowledge-based  

      Attendees must complete a program evaluation and CPE submission online at www.CESally.com. After successful CPE submission to CPE Monitor, attendees may print their statements of continuing pharmacy education credit at NABP.pharmacy.

      Target Audience: This knowledge-based activity was developed for Health-System Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians

      Faculty Disclosure: It is the policy of ICHP to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all of its education programs. In accordance with this policy, faculty must disclose to the participants any significant relationships with commercial companies whose products or devices may be mentioned in faculty presentations, or with the commercial supporter of these continuing pharmacy education programs. Any resident or fellow presentation is reviewed by a content specialist preceptor. These disclosures will be available at the program.

      Activity Evaluation & CPE Submission Requirements
      : In order to receive continuing pharmacy education credit, attendees must complete an activity evaluation and CPE submission online at www.CESally.com. After successful CPE submission, attendees may print their official CPE Monitor Transcript through their CPE Monitor account at www.NABP.pharmacy.       Policy and Procedure for Educational Program Grievances can be found on our website.

      PTCB requires CPhTs to submit 20 hours of pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) continuing pharmacy education (CPE) to qualify for recertification. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change. As an ACPE accredited provider, ICHP will continue to include Technician specific programming in most if not all of our CPE programming.
