Those who do not attend and do not cancel within 48 hours of the program will be charged $20.00 to cover expenses. If you do attend the meeting, you will not be charged the fee. Please bring a copy of your registration verification form with you to the meeting. There is limited seating, so register early.
Learning Objectives for Pharmacists:- Describe the new pharmacy-related State laws of 2016.
- Recall changes in the Illinois Pharmacy Practice Act Rules that were accepted in 2015 and discuss potential changes to the Practice Act Compounding Rules of 2016.
- Describe the efforts for obtaining provider status at the State and Federal level in 2016.
- Discuss potential State legislation that may be introduced in Springfield this spring.

The Illinois Council of Health System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
To receive your CPE credit, you will need to complete the online evaluation forms and then your credit will automatically be reported to CPE Monitor. Information on accessing the online evaluation system will be provided at the meeting.
PTCB now requires CPhTs to earn only pharmacy technician-specific (‘T-specific’) credit to qualify for recertification. As of January 1, 2015, ALL CPE credit earned must be T-specific. In addition, PTCB will reduce the number of allowable CPE hours earned through inservice training from 10 to 5. Please advise all pharmacy technicians at your site of this change.
