Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this knowledge-based continuing pharmacy education activity, pharmacist participants should be able to:
1. Define Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH).
2. Discuss the pathophysiology, types, and symptoms of PAH.
3. Discuss the characteristics of FDA approved medications for PAH.
4. Review the new therapeutic treatment paradigms in the management of PAH.
5. Describe the roles of pharmacists in the management PAH.
